Default confused at dmg output

As you can see, I'm somehow doing 74 dmg in one chunk, but all I'm using is spiteful spirit, insidious parasite, and suffering. Yes, I know, I should be using awaken the blood, but I always forget it's there.

It's never happened before today and only 4-5 times and usually seems to happen right when the enemies are about to die.

Anybody seen anything like this before?
Looks like a critical hit on ss if it was possible, lol.

Awaken the Blood isn't worth taking. You'd be much better off taking Enfeebling Blood or some other kind of weakness skill. And yes, the bladed termites use frenzy which doubles your SS damage.

Oh, I didn't know the double dmg effect on frenzy applied to armor ignoring dmg. I thought frenzy worked like healing signet and just lowered armor by forty to cause double dmg and wouldn't affect ss. I stand corrected and informed. Thanks for the answers.

For 8 seconds, you attack 33% faster but take double damage.

doesn't say anywhere that you lose armor. Whatever damage you take when frenzy on is just doubled.

Yes, like people already said, the termites use frenzy.
They'll take double damage. 2x37=74.
